About BYB Tech
Measuring what a rider feels but cannot name
BYB Tech is an Italian company that builds suspension data acquisition hardware and software. Its sensors record what a fork and shock actually do through a run, so a setup decision rests on a measurement rather than on a memory of the last lap.
BYB Tech SRL was founded in Brescia in 2019 and designs and builds every system in Italy. The hardware fits air and coil springs alike, and records the whole run rather than sampling moments of it.

What BYB Tech makes
BYB Tech makes three product lines across four products. Telemetry V3 and Telemetry V3 Pro record fork and shock movement. Chrono records lap and run times. Focus is a riding light. Between them the range covers mountain bike, motocross, quad, car and road bike.

How BYB Tech got here
BYB Tech started as a Kickstarter campaign in December 2018 that raised $38,000, and delivered its first 50 systems the following year. Three hardware generations later, the range covers mountain bike, motocross, quad and car.

The company is founded in Brescia and ships the first 50 systems to the riders who backed them.

A second generation, and a second discipline
Telemetry 2.0 replaces the original hardware, a motocross system follows, and BYB Tech starts taking consultancy work for manufacturers.

Who builds it
BYB Tech is an engineering company in Brescia, northern Italy, founded by a downhill national champion with an engineering background. It has designed and built every system since.
Since 2020 the same engineers have taken consultancy work, across several fields. Some of it extends the products for a manufacturer or a use case the catalogue does not cover. The rest has nothing to do with suspension at all, and is built on the same discipline: instrument it, then decide.
